As part of the ‘Adversaries to Allies’ collaborative project with the MacDougall of Dunollie Preservation Trust, we are delighted to announce a Study Day on the theme of Am Bràist Latharna (The Brooch of Lorn).
This in-person event will take place on Saturday 27 June from 10:00-16:15 at Argyll Estates Archives, Cherry Park, Inveraray.
Attendees will hear from experts from National Museums of Scotland, The Dewar Project and Dunollie on the history and significance of the beautiful Brooch of Lorn. There will also be an opportunity to visit the display showcasing the replica brooch in Inveraray Castle. The event will be chaired in both Gaelic and English.
Tickets: £25 per person including coffee/tea and a sandwich lunch.
